Mr. McMillen is a frequent lecturer to other lawyers and publishes a monthly column in the Journal of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers .  Other important publications include articles published in the Florida Bar Journal, and with his attorney daughter, Allison McMillen, he co-authored a chapter in a continuing legal education book published by the Florida Bar in 2009.
